The Santa Cruz Walton Family in Hawaii

Here is our little adventure to Hawaii or what our friends would call it: "our baby moon ".

Brian forced me to bring this flannel shirts since we left Utah.:). We are at a placed called The Point.

A random picture of Baby Walton.

Brian and his friends jumped from this point down to the reef

A walk by the canal near Waikiki, where the busy life is.

In Ala Moana Shopping Center we ran into Mickey Mouse. He is excited for Brian to come and work him:).

At Waikiki Beach

At Iolanie's Palace. Last Qeen of Hawaii.  The only Palace in the US

 Spitting Caves

Kualoa Ranch. Many movies have filmed cool scenes here such as Jurassic Park.

Brian swam to that little island name China man's hat.

Sunset at Sharks Cove

At Peal Harbor Memorial . You can see the  USS Arizona sunken battleship. The museum is free and you learned interesting things about the war.

Stairway to Heaven. Only Brian did this hike because it was illegal..  I mean dangerous..  haha. In fact it is ilegal. It used to be open to the public, but for safety reasons it is closed.. But Brian couldn't resist the idea. They went early to see the sunrise and avoid getting caught!!

Our frustrated attempt to make fire... at the PCC.

Sam: he was your next door neighbor! Everyone knows who Sam Walton is!!

With Elesy (sp?) Marietta's cousin!! Small world.. See.. we did go to Fiji!

Strawberry Picking

We went to go pick strawberries at a local farm today. I went all the time growing up but this was the first time for Adam and the kids. They were so excited and had a blast. FYI-Fresh NY strawberries are the better than any other strawberry you buy at the store, but maybe I'm a little biased.
 (Notice the sign)

August showing his BIG strawberry

Mya caught red handed eating strawberries
 "Ooooooo"
 "Look dad"

We picked 12 lbs of strawberries and I think the kids have already eaten half of them. I can't wait to make jam, desserts, etc. and go back and get more!

Antelope island

We went to antelope island for memorial day. There was a sign as we entered that said,"the gnats eggs have hatched, no refunds will be given for the gnats" we wanted to stop and get a picture but when we stopped the car it was instantly covered in mosquitos and gnats. On the way out, just after dusk, it sounded like it was raining from the large amount of bugs hitting the front of the car. We could hardly see out of the windshield even after using all the windshield washer fluid so we stopped at a gas station to clean the windshield and this is what it looked like! And of course we had just washed the car last week! This would be one way to avoid the camera tickets for running red lights :) they would never be able to read your license plate.

I love to see the temple!

We finally moved to NY and were able to go to the temple yesterday. It was a little bit cooler but we enjoyed spending the whole day in Palmyra. I'm excited to be able to take more advantage of really getting to see the church history sites here in NY. Here are some pictures from our adventure yesterday. The kids took some pictures too and one of the ones August took I think is one of the best pictures we got. Hope you enjoy! (Sorry there are so many)

This is one of my favorite pictures that August took
Mya took this action shot of August
Mya picked a tulip on the grounds. She didn't understand that she couldn't pick this one because earlier she was picking dandelions, the yellow flowers that are actually weeds.

 My handsome Guy
If you look close you can see his teeth (they have come in 4 at a time!!!! both top and bottom!)

I love the temple! I hope all of you can get a chance to get up here to visit while we live here. You have a free place to stay!
